What a private safari costs for your group, with every price set per Land Cruiser rather than per person, and what is and is not included.
How private safari pricing works
With Khat Tourism the price of a private desert safari is for the whole car, not for each person. Every tour is private: your own Land Cruiser and licensed safari driver, for your group only. One Land Cruiser takes up to 6 guests, so a family or a group of friends pays one price for the car, and hotel pickup and drop-off are included.
The price goes up a little with each extra guest. Groups of 7 to 12 travel in two Land Cruisers. For groups over 12, WhatsApp us.
Dubai safari prices by group size
The private evening safari and the kids-friendly safari cost the same. The morning safari is shorter and costs less.

Split between six guests, the AED 950 evening price comes to under AED 160 each, and the AED 560 morning price to under AED 100 each.
What each price includes
Private evening safari
Pickup between 3:00 and 3:30 PM, about six hours in total.
- Hotel pickup and drop-off
- Red dune bashing
- Camel ride
- Arabic coffee and dates, and unlimited soft drinks
- Shisha corner and belly dance show
Not included: a private VIP table at the camp, and quad bikes.
Morning safari
Pickup between 7:30 and 8:00 AM, back at your hotel by late morning. Includes hotel pickup, dune bashing, sandboarding and a camel ride. Breakfast and quad bikes are not included.
Candlelight dinner for two
AED 1,500 per couple, or AED 3,000 for 3 to 4 guests. It includes private pickup and drop-off, dune bashing, sunset views, a private dinner setup in the dunes, sandboarding and desert photography. Read more in our desert dinner for two guide.
Extras that cost more
Quad bikes and buggies are paid extras on most trips. If you want them built in, the dune buggy and quad page lists a Morning Safari with Quad Bike from AED 700 per Land Cruiser, a 1-hour Quad Bike Tour at AED 450 per quad, and self-drive dune buggies at AED 750 per buggy.
Abu Dhabi safari prices
The private evening safari in Abu Dhabi is priced the same way, from AED 700 for one guest to AED 950 for six, and the morning safaris there start at AED 500 per Land Cruiser. Pickup is from your hotel, home or a spot you choose in Abu Dhabi. See the Abu Dhabi desert safari page for the full list.
Booking and paying
Send us your date, the number of guests and your hotel on WhatsApp and we confirm the price for your group. You pay by card, bank transfer or PayPal when you book. Your booking is confirmed once payment is received. Cancellation is free up to 48 hours before pickup for a full refund, and if a sandstorm, heavy rain or a government weather warning stops the trip, you can move it or get a full refund. Is the price per person or per car?
Per Land Cruiser. Every tour is private, and one car takes up to 6 guests, so the price for your group size covers the whole car with hotel pickup and drop-off.
How much is a private evening desert safari in Dubai?
From AED 700 for one guest up to AED 950 for six guests in one Land Cruiser. Groups of 7 to 12 travel in two Land Cruisers, from AED 1,650 to AED 1,900.
How much is the morning desert safari?
From AED 500 per Land Cruiser for one or two guests, up to AED 560 for six. Groups of 7 to 12 pay from AED 1,060 to AED 1,120 for two cars.
Can I add a quad bike?
Yes. Quad bikes and buggies are paid extras on most trips. Ask on WhatsApp and we add them to your booking.
When do I pay?
When you book. Pay by card, bank transfer or PayPal. Your booking is confirmed once payment is received.
Can I cancel?
Yes. Cancel up to 48 hours before pickup for a full refund. Refunds reach you within 3 to 5 working days.
